This book is so powerful. It gave me insight to all the things that Sandy & Rick went through together. It has helped both my husband and I to process all the feelings we encountered - (do I have cancer- and how this will change everything in our lives)- before, during and after my visit to Stanford to get the breast exam I needed when I noticed a change in my breast. Learning about what Sandy went through and felt brought out feelings so strong - that it was cathartic for me. I was able to better understand the emotions and feelings I was going through, realizing that they were real and I shouldn't just forget about them, and how they effected me physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
